Apollo proved just how honorable of a fighter he really was in one sentence. "I won but I didn't beat him." He was never gonna let it go to the score cards. I think he realized that if he got knocked out by Rocky and lost he could live with it because he would know that Rocky was the better fighter. Not second guessing himself about the scorecards. That's what makes a honorable champion. Not finding loopholes or running around the ring waiting for the bell but going toe to toe and if you lose at least it's without regret.

I love how john literally have a chance to kill iosef but chose not to, just to make him terrified. Johm also grab Victor's phone knows that iosef will call him. Everything was under control by john

I think he felt her heart beating and then stop. She wasn’t conscious, for obvious reasons, but her heart was still beating despite suffering a traumatic brain injury and then it slowly faded to a stop and he felt all of that. He literally felt the life slip from her body. Such a heart breaking scene

That was pretty much everyone's reaction in the theaters when I saw it.

This was based on a book called 'First Blood" featuring the character John Rambo. It played out basically like the movie. Except it came out in 1972. Mind you, the Vietnam war was still going on and vets were still coming home. So the book was really about current events, but the movie caught the feeling pretty well too.

i when thru bootcamp and this is how my drill instructor talked to us, and it was very hard not to laugh but we learn very fast not to ever laugh cause the line "I will PT you to death" was real we got PT for 3 hours for laughing once didn't happen again. PT means physical training i.e. sit ups ,push ups ,etc.

I was 10 when my sister dragged me to the theater to see this. This is the moment I got up and ran out of the theater screaming :)

The thing is, its such a great scene. One of the best chereograph hollywood action scenes out there. The little details of harry being out of his mental stage from the sim card and then going back in again. That little detail. With free bird solo as the score as well. Just perfectly executed. Shame the second one didnt live up to the first but hell. What a scene. And the fact this happened in a church makes it that much more cause it is quite sensitive as well. Hollywood wont get near this level anymore cause they are afraid they will get cancelled for it.
